- I Am the mother of 3 children ,1 boy who is in the navy and 2 girls 1 in college and 1 graduating high school this year. I am married to a firefighter now for 22 years and I wirk at the highschool here in town with the special education dept.

- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- have patience you will hear from them eventually, and it is always a nice surprise when you do. always support their choices.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Guess who's the handsome sailor is Heidi? It's my son Christian. We had such a wonderful time, too short of weekend though. Got home today, tired, wanted to bring home Christian in carryone LOL. See you online soon, my pics are being "waiting for approval" so tomorrow or Tues they'll be on my page slide show.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

What is your son Tyler doing in the Navy? My son is an EN aboard his ship which is currently away on deployment. There is a CA Navy Mom’s Group, Northern CA & Central Ca groups if you are interested. Not sure what part of CA you are located. I’m down in So Cal area. Hope to hear back from you, take care, Karen.
