When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That no matter how afraid i was , i was very proud of his dissension.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Helen,,,thank you for your post,,,I really do appreciate it. This year has certainly been a roller coaster ride for me,,,with the deployment and then my husbands short illness and then his passing. I am only 44 yet feel well beyond my years at this point in my life. But its the little comments from my friends,,like you,,that keep me going to another day. I am sorry we didn't get a chance to meet at homecoming. maybe some day...
