HI I used to live in Midland. I lived there for almost 30 years and then moved to Glenwood Springs, CO. My sons are older than your's. They went to Sam Houston, San Jacinto, & Midland High. Did we live in the same neighborhood?

Hello, I was just looking through the Texas moms and saw that you were from Midland...My son will be traveling through there on the 20th of Dec coming home to Fort Worth Texas for the hoildays. It would be nice to know a mom out in that area in case of any travel problems. I think he will be staying the night there on the 19th and then driving the rest of the way home on the 20th. Maybe I could get you to help me find a hotel there. Thanks so much C

Ok....cool thanks. Yeah Ezra was div. 413 and it doesnt surprise me they havent run into each other yet. There were well over 1000 graduating that day and I dont know how many stayed in GL for A school. But maybe one of these days they will run into each other. He did say there were a lot of guys from Texas in his division.

Yeah, I plan on sending some homemade chocolate chip cookies and maybe some magic bars and chips. Just some munchies that will travel well. He should like that and I am sure his roommates will too. lol

Thanks for adding me as a friend. Ezra said they will have a free Thanksgiving dinner for all the students at A school at the USO and they are supposed to put on a big spread at the Galley. Not as good as being home, but there is always Christmas.

Ezra also graduated on 10/31 and is also in A school in Great Lakes. I can hardly wait until he comes home for Christmas. I am ready to show him off to all those people who didnt get to go to Chicago.

I feel the same way and I warn Andre that I was not going to let him go!! I spoke with him last night and I just can't get over how mature he is for his age. It makes me proud to know I did something right. I still worry about him up there and warn him to be very careful when he is off base. He tells me mom I know. I asked him what he is doing for Thanksgiving he said we are playing football and eat turkey lunchables. He laughed, so I hope he they do something for them.

I don't know exactly why but he said they have to take everything with them. Is your son coming home on the 19th? I can not wait til he comes home! His brothers, sister and father weren't able to go to PIR, so they can't wait. It is nice that I can talk with him now whenever I want or shall I say text. Is Mitchell your oldest? Andre is my oldest and it was very hard to let him go.
