About me:
I am the proud mom of 2 boys. Ian who is 18 and Daniel who is 9. Iam a homemaker who enjoys being with her sons & I miss Ian dearly. He has only been gone 2weeks and I wonder every waking moment how he's feeling. Sept.2009 Ian graduated from Great Lakes IL. He is now in Groton Conn. Whew! He made it through to school!
I LOVE our country! My father Joe served in US NAVY . He is my sons hero and inspiration for joining the NAVY. God Bless all the seamen and sailors ! Sending my boy from NY lots of LOVE -- God Bless you Ian and God Bless all Navy Moms. well my son Ian came home and declared he doesnt want to be in the Navy So everyone please send prayers Ians way. He's going for the Subs and I don't want him to regret his plans. He's the love of my life and I hope he doesnt get to depressed. I'm worried for him. This is a world i do not know. Please if you read this pray for Ian to have strength and a positive outlook.
I am here to support or represent my:

Thanks for inviting me! That is the greatest pictuer. Reminiscent of the statue of the sailor kissing the nurse! I saw that statue in San Diego by the USS Midway museum, and someone was "washing" her uniform with a pressure washer!
Tell me about your sailor. Mine is on the USS Blue Ridge and is an FC.

Hi & welcome to Navy for Mom's:)) You will find a lot of answers, support and encouragement here. My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy for 2 years and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19) has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz. What is your Ian doing with the Navy? If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you joined and look forward to hearing more about you & your Sailor. Pat
