Welcome Jake'smom. I also have not heard a peep from him. All the articles that I have read said that they will be staying in Hong Kong a few days, of course they won't give anything more specific :) Can I have the site where I can order the racpac?

My son got his blue card, I know what that means but he said that he got a room; what does that mean? Is he living off the ship that soon?

Well that's good you're able to stay in touch a little better! This summer I was pretty blessed in being able to see him several times, now we just have to hold out until the holidays! What about you? I bet it's been way too long since you last saw Alban.

I'm glad to hear that despite the fact both you and your son must of done some major adjusting things are going well. That's good to hear! What was it like while he was deployed? Was it harder or easier than you expected?
Jacob and I are doing pretty well, we've gotten pretty good at having a relationship through the phone! =]

Really? You think a whole month? Gosh I hope not! :( I had an "unknown" call the other night with lots of noise then nothing. I can't help but wonder if it was Shane trying to call. Shane is a MM so he'll be working deep in the bottom of the ship somewhere, helping to keep it going somehow. I will be sure to let you know too. I'll tell the world! LOL I miss my son very much.

Hi Jackie, Shane left about a week ago too. I'm sure they must have gone together. He said there were 100 of them. I know no news is good news but I sure would like to hear from him as you would. I'll let you know when I do. I hate the waiting! :( Hope you have a good day.... Hugs~ Natalie
