Charla, It is a rumor right now. As a 10+ year military mom, I'll believe it when they are here ;-) Last leave we had to change our son's ticket 3 times! But, if they do indeed come to Seattle, what is the drill? My sailor is my youngest. My eldest…

Hi Jane
I am sooooo happy to know those two are friends and my son is still funny LOL
I soooooooo miss his funny self. I watched the video with 2 of my sons this morning
and cried hahahahaahaha gets to me everytime, there's 1 of Josh with his dad, then 1 with his youngest brother Jadon and the one of me and him along with me hugging him at BC grad, then a goodbye hug when we had to take him back to base and fly home and he and I both were crying so much, it was really hard to leave him, I kept feeling like he should be flying back with us. I have 4 other sons, 2 at home and 2 adults who live very close by and I don't like having one away, LOL I'm not good at this still. I appreciate you and Al giving me his messages, it's so great, thank you so much

Jane can I bother u to ask your son to let Joshua know he has several boxes on the way and to be sure and check when it's mail call? I'm not sure if they're notified when they do get a package
and I'm glad he has a friend to joke with...they need laughter :)))

OMG yep, that's Josh, he's a clown....years ago he put peas inside his baby brothers bottle and another time got some hard beans stuck in his nostrils. LOL
Thank u soooooooooo much for this info, I feel tons better, I have no clue when I'll hear from him, I'm hoping only 2 weeks to go. Anymore stories from your son please share, I love hearing them :)

Thank you Jane. That is a good suggestion but I doubt I will be successfull! But will give it a try. He is on early entry and his recruiter looks every day for him but so far no luck. anyway, we just have to be patient and for him to stay healthy. My best to you.

Jane I am sorry I haven't put in your email address yet. I wasn't sure
who Doni was sorry for the confusion. Yes contact on our part is
a huge deal. It is positve reinforcement at all times they love to
get mail such a simple cards. And the email there are alot of
sailors and not a lot of computers so they don't always have
a chance to email I think one reason why I hear from him daily
is he works at night when everyone is on the computer or
sleeping so when he gets off they are working and he can email
and shower, eat and off to sleep. My email is shari_mohr@yahoo.com
send me a message to it and then your email will be added to my
contacts. Hope you are having a great day!!!!

Jane, I am sorry Doni is not doing well is that your sons girlfriend. I am
sorry I have not added your email on my contacts yet. It is tuff on everyone
and until loved ones get a couple under you belt they are really hard. If
Doni is his girlfriend which I thin I might be right it is very difficult to be
in the Navy or any branch of the military and being married. My son
refuses to settle down with anyone until he is out of the Navy because
of long distance relationship , he has many friends on the ship have
or have failed marriages and he refuses to have children while in
because he doesn't want miss any part of their life. It is very hard and
it is even harder when you are down and have to force yourself to
bring you sailor up. I find there are thiings I can't express or tell
Michael no matter how hard it gets on this end I have to give hime
positive reassurance everyday with emails and I send him at least
2 cards a week when I see it coming it help him thru. It is tuff
but that is the best way I have found to handle it.

Yes, email is great I will write it down and put it in my contact list and
make sure I stay in touch with you. I hope your friend a coping well
because at the point I am at you just have to cope. Because tommrow could
be great or worse it is very unpredictable that is the hardest part.
I have chronic progessive after 20 years of intermentint. So I pray for every
good day and hopefully am able to sleep the bad ones by unless I whined
up in the hospital. I have frequent reservation miles with them. Take care
thank you for you kindness

Jane I hope all is well with you yesterday I had my MS walk and it turned
out nice. I had more people than I thought for my team to raise money
for a cure. I was having a hard time of getting into it cause it was something
my husband and I worked closely together. My Michael ate my butt out and told
me what kind of example would be setting by quiting. It was my cause and
what I had choosen to help fight for a cure. So I pulled my head out and did
it. It was not the money I wanted to raise but it was something and thats
what matters every year I have made more and more funds. Not this year
but the Good Lord willing I will make that goal I have set for my team. Time
will tell. Hope you have had a wonderful weekend and have a good week.
Just wanted to drop you a line and say hello and maybe we shall meet
in Oklahoma sum day if not Calif. Take care and God Bless
