Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
looking for information regarding boot camp, Survived boot camp. Now trying to survive Nuclear School in Goose Creek, SC. The support from N4M's is the best thing. I don't know what I would do without this wonderful support from other Mom's who have "been there done that".
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Sounds like they hooked him up, giving him FT - I guarantee he will enjoy his underway time much more than he would have as a nuke. You can expect him to spend about eleven months in Groton before reporting to a boat.

I know Rob is trying hard and putting in lots of study time. He is twenty one and went to collage for a year and a half before joining but didnt do his work . Now I am afraid he is paying the price to catch up with the others who did take the math and physics classes. I know he willl make it throough this I just think he has to dig a little deeper in himselg which he is doing. He gets discouraged because he says others dont have to study like him and they do better on the tests. We just keep encouraging him. He tells me mom hardly anyone is struggling like me but i know there is lots of guys and girls workinng hard.

Hey Janice, My boyfriend graduates on January 22 too..with God's help. I'm not a mom but I sure know how heartbreaking it is to hear a loved one feeling down/struggling. Like one of the moms said on the nuke forum, the guys have their cycles. Keep encouraging your son! he will make it through!
take care.

Hi Janice, I talked to Zach yesterday and he said he knows who Cody is. Said he "talked to him once for like 5 seconds" because he thought he recognized him from the recruiting office. How's Cody doing? I'm guessing Zach is doing pretty well, because he says he actually has time to join a league at a local pool hall. Yikes!! I sure hope he keeps his focus. Have you figured out the private messaging yet?

Hi Janice, yes it was fun at the Moose the other night. You can PM by clicking on my profile picture (Zach's face) and then there's an option on the left side of the page to "send message". Click on that and it's easy. That's how I get in touch with Karen as well, don't have her email address. You can click on her picture and then PM her too.
Talk to you soon!
