Apologies - Navy Moms fro not making it to the event on the 24th. Situation came up and couldn't make it - though would love to be able to attend another when you get together. Congrats to all who have PIR - it is an exciting event.

I have a son who is an ET about ready to finish his A school in GL - anyone else out there with a son or daughter still in GL finishing teir A school. He hasn't recv'd his orders for C school yet and so we are in a wanting game. Would love to know...

About me:
Single mom of three - my oldest (son) is has been in the Navy since last year (2008) - he graduated BC December 2008 and is still in school in Great Lakes. I am just hainging in there playing the waiting game.

I feel very fortunate to being able to see him so often at the moment. I truly am blessed.

Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I am still learning... He has a lot of hold time - but he has taken the responsibility very well. I am so proud of him.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I cannot find the number for the Military free packs. But, call UPS and tell them you want to order a military pack. They will give you a pin number that you can use each time you call back to order more
