Hi All, Hope all is well with your Sailors and Boot Campers. Jon is able to be home for Christmas. Nothing like seeing your Sailor back home. At least for awhile. Yeah! He's liking DLI. He recently was able to move into one of the new buildings. Nic…

Is there a Toledo mom on here? If so, I believe your son is in class with mine. Jen

About me:
I am a Mom of four + two more. My oldest son just PIRed on 8/21. We live south of the Lake Erie shore in the Village of Grafton. I have many interests, but the most important one is my children.
I am here to support or represent my:

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
The Navy will help my son reach his life's goal. Of course it'll be hard not to be able to see him when I want, but hopefully now that PIR is over, he can keep in touch with his family on a more regular basis. I'm totally proud of him for serving our country Navy style
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Jen....wow, it's been forever since I've been on here! Hope all is going well w/ you. Jonny has been in touch w/ Mark a few times. Mark loves hearing from him! Angi is doing good. She graduated from Psych Tech school on 10/27, and came home on 10/29. She is still here, and I think she plans on leaving Mon. She is so happy and finally admitted she loves what she is doing. She will be heading back to Great Lakes when she leaves here. That is where she will be stationed. I'm glad, cause it's a lot closer than Va. Well, take care and keep in touch!
