Hello! My youngest son leaves tomorrow for BC. I'm just browsing around the site and see that your son has his glasses on at PIR! Did you send them to him while he was in Boot Camp? I think this is the worst thing my son is worried about with regard to Boot Camp - are those BC glasses! LOL! So, how did he manage to get them to wear? Thanks!

Hey Jennifer, it was so nice visiting with you at the hotel!! Have you heard from Justin? We finally got a call from Jacob on Sunday and it was sooooo good!! Already planning a trip to Pensacola. I am learning alot about patience and letting go through this whole experience and really appreciated our talk - I feel like I am not the only one walking the challenge.

I'd really like to get together for lunch sometime! We could meet in the middle. Oh, did you still have the info on the Div Shirts?

Have a wonderful week!!

End of Week One

Well here I am at the end of week one. Justin left to go to bootcamp one week ago today. I am surprised at myself....really!! I have not had the emotional rollercoaster that I expected to have. Yes I cried, to my dismay, on his shoulder when I dropped him off at the hotel the night before departure, but did not cry at the MEPS for his oath ceremony or when he got in the cab to go to the airport.
