I remember getting that phone call from my husband. It was un nerving. Then I got a letter from him and he explained that the first 24 hours was a blur. They have so much to do as far as medical and paperwork, and uniforms, they kept them up almost…

- I'm not a Navy mom, but a Navy wife and havn't been able to find anything for us on here(THE NET), so I am joining this site! My husband shipped out to bootcamp in January and will hopefully be graduating Feb. 27-2009- before getting transfered for A school.

- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- no matter what we do as a family the most important thing is to encourage them and love them!Their whole lives are changing because this is an enyirely new way of living, things will balance out with time.As a Navy WIFE it is most important that my husband knows i am holding down the homefront and everyone here is fine!

- You must be getting ready to go to Great Lakes for PIR. That was an experience I will never forget. I was so proud. That was June 2006.Enjoy it all.Don't forget to join the Idaho Moms even though your a wife. We are still connected and like to get together every few months for support and to share. We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
