Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Jerusha,

Welcome to N4M. I noticed we're both members of the NROTC group. Congratulations on your son & daugther's service! I'm sure you're proud of them! Feel free to write, Sherry

Hi Jerusha,
My family is Jewish, too, and my son has never experienced any discrimination.
Following holidays can be tough when deployed but the Navy tries to accomodate.
Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

Hi Jerusha and welcome to the NROTC group on Navy for Moms :)
Congratulations to your son on his scholarship! I read your comment about being concerned because your family is Jewish. All I can tell you is my daughter is in a unit at RPI and 2 midshipmen that she is close with are Jewish and have experienced no problems. Maybe that will help alleviate some of your fears?
