Hello Jillian, Wow - very ambitious paper. First of all - what grade are you in/ what age are you? I would try to limit the paper in scope first of all. Second, acknowledge that wars are started for a variety of reasons, right? not just because we d…

if you have the time

please read this and tell me what you think. it's my theses paper for my english class. I had to come up with a theses statement, and write a four page paper on it. My theses statement is "Until the world adapts to accept different views, religions, races and beliefs, the world will never truly know peace"

Just in case you're not sure what a theses statement is, you come up with a slightly vague statement that you can use to create many different examples to prove it. For my paper, I'm using re… Continue

Hey Baby, hope you and the family are doing well. Isn't it funny how we all put so much stock in our cell phones and all it takes it a little issue to flub something up? It is great that he is moving close to you! I hope you guys have time to hang once in a while. I know Steve had asked about you once in a while and I always forward stuff when I hear from him. Take it easy, maybe I will see you in the fall!
Love you bunches

Jillian,
You hang out with the smarties...sounds like you are one also. And to be honest you sound much like my Andrew. History is his subject...which is why it was a true surprise for him to come home and say I'm going Nuke Sub! I took one look at the brochure and said the course work is all Math and Science..."I know mom, I can handle it!" Of course that wasn't my point, as mom I already knew that much.
Yes, I agree with your friend about the goofs, but they are everywhere in society, and will be in your classroom if you become a teacher. You could always do both the Navy and Teach. You would be a stronger person with more to offer kids in the classroom with a couple of years of military experience under your belt. One of Andrew's better History instructors in HS, came off a Navy boat...and if you really liked the military...once you retired you could become an NROTC instructor at a school. You could then combine the history and your Navy background. The NJROTC program can really make a difference in kids lives. Okay I have rambled along...didn't mean to preach...just the mom coming out. Keep me posted, would like to hear what you decide and how things are going.
