Well, I just read thru the older posts & saw what happened to Rob. OMG What a horrible experience. He should not have been alone! Jake is now in an apt. I pray he is being safe but you never know with these kids!

Both my Dad and Moms family's are from that area. Rob and his sister attended church camp for 4 years down there in Makanda. My cousins run Lipe Orchards. Other cousins work at SIU and a nephew attends there in college. Da's fam is actually from Boskydell area. I went to Tunnel Hill last weekend when there - old railroad tunnel that they have removed the tracks from but, you can walk through or ride bikes through - pretty cool. We went to Saltpeter Cave last time - closed down but, we walked down there anyway. So many cool places down there like the Natural Bridge. My Mom grew up on Wall Street and the wee little house is still there - amazing as everything around it has grown very modern. Just wish I could get down there more often. Time!!!!!

Good morning Jodi,
I asked Rob when he called the other day if he knew Jake and he said yes, they are friends. I told him to look out for Jake for you when he could.We only got to talk briefly, so I was not able to get more info. I will try the next time.
I hope you have a Happy 4th with friends and family.
