About me:
I have a great boyfriend of 6 yrs. and together we have 5 kids... I have 2 My son Scott who is 19 and just left the 27th for boot camp and my daughter Courtney who is 13 and in 7th grade. My boyfriends kids are a 24yr old son and a Navy recruiter , 15yr old daughter and a 11 yr old daughter... I am very excited to have found some great sites to help me out through this difficult time!!!

Little White Lie

Some days are worse than others
This one has been very long
I’m really missing my sailor
People keep asking what is wrong

I’ve learned to say “allergies”
Because that they understand
It also explains the weepy eyes
And the tissue in my hand

But I’ve found a place where I can go
And let my tears flow free
Where I can find day or night
A thousand moms like me

So I lie when people ask because
When my day of work is done
I know I can share my feelings with

Hey Girl! The BBQ is on the 19th of April, a Sunday. Its listed in Events, as RI Navy Momma's! Gettin it togetha! Hehehe. Yeh, now Im workin on gettin a live band called Rustic Drama to play as well as a bon fire, horseshoes, volleyball. Im having it catered by my bro-in-law's restaurant, the West Valley Inn, including a cook with a grill, so I can actually enjoy myself! We also have plenty of room for stay overs.....hint, hint....

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile, but thank you sooo much for your hospitality to Nate. I am thankful for you taking the time to open your home to my son. Good to hear he behaves half way decent! Ha Ha! Hope that I can help Scott some way. If there is anything ever I can do, let me know even if I am out here in Illinois!!!

Hey, I know this might be a stretch for you, but I wondered if you might entertain coming to a Navy For Momma's cookout we are having at our farm, here in Exeter, RI. I would so love to see you and your wonderful family again. We have a plethera of animals your daughter would surely love as well. I dont know how long of a ride it would be but it would be great to see you again.

My son also just finished A-School heading off to Maryland the end of March. I'm so excited for him. Is your son already there? When did Scott finish bootcamp? Daniel graduated from bootcamp on Jan 9 and finished A-school March 13. He just got home on Sunday. Take care and God bless our Sailors!!!! Chris

He went to legal and they told him there was nothing they could do. Even though the circumstantial evidence was tremendous....He's just moving forward, staying focused and I believe today he moved out of the Enterprison and onto another ship because he was graduating SCC. Now he is on hold for ATT could be 3 months.....thats before A school....uuggghh....

Hey, that was sweet of you to say that on Boot camp Moms....makes me wanna cry..again. Some of these moms remind me of us when we were goin out of our minds, not knowing....I cannot stand it! And that mom that missed her call. I balled my eyes out....I still miss my son so much, even tough I get to talk to him every other day. Like I said on boot camp moms, the big bear hugs....nothin like em'....

Why doesn't Scott like Texas? Their accent? Everything too big...hehehe??

I'd have to say definitely some lasting friendships here at least for m. You guys have been my strength getting through...I look forward to running to my computer to see if I have new messages just as I check the caller ID in case I missed a call from jake even though carry my cell phone on my hip! LOL
