I'm a stay home mom now, with a 15 month old daughter. I have two other sons here at home. I really don't do much, now just think about my son.

Well lets see, Shawn reports today...so to say the least. HE is hoping to get a *10 day leave* they give it married-family sailors to set up house...So we are hoping that nothing goes wrong in that department. Heather and him are also waiting on an apartment -they should know something maybe ?? today.....They are on a waiting list for the military housing.... Tell your sailor he will be *great* shawn reacted the same way and after sometime for the shock and ah to wear off...he looked at it as an adventure>>>>>

Hey Jodi, long time no talk.... Ya know Shawn was very unhappy when he got his orders. I think it is just reality setting in. That these guys are really gonna go to a ship and go out to sea..I mean up till now they have been in BC-school and now its time for these guys to put their skills to work.
Hey ya know shawn is attached to a smaller ship. he asked lots of questions to Chiefs Petty officers etc etc about his orders and they all said that being attached to a smaller ship bring *big opportunities*
hey look @ it this way....he should be coming home before he is due to report!
I felt the *same* exact way! Pure panic.......

Thanks.....Shawn is in GL too...he is @ the tall end of A school-probably, about less then 2 wks left..then home for a very little while then to Mollys-pattys-tammys neck of the woods _Washington....him and Heather are driving so its crunch time there in Florida

Things are going good. Its getting a little easier not having Shane home.
He might be coming home around July. That will be exciting!!! He's still in
Chicago. He loves it.
