Hi Jody,
Answer to your question. Tom is 19, (20 in Feb). He is a very mature guy. He has 1 year of college behind him. He has been a volunteer counselor for the last 4 years at a kids christian camp and shows great maturity in leadership. We also own a small pizza place that he manages. I know he will do well, he is not a whiner, has never been in trouble, has done the regular college things (partying), is not a saint but he does know right from wrong. This is more than you asked for, I know, but just an idea of who he is. Blessings to you Jody.

Jody,
Thank you for being so kind as to responding to all my manic questions! As to comments being told to my son, he would think i was a nut, (I am) and he would re-assure me that he will be fine (he will)! He would laugh it he read all of these comments. Thanks again for responding to me, any other tidbits of info, before he goes in and during, i would be really appreciative. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving Jody!

Jody,
He was also told last week, that the jobs are closed now for 4 months!

Hi Jody,
He has researched the job, and after 4 times at the meps with nothing coming up he seems content with it. I guess it's more more. I just want him to be happy. He does know everything involved with this job. I guess I just need to be reassured, more than he does. He never complains, and is happy with the (only) job that was available for him.
anything else you cana think of would be great!
Thanks,
Sam.

Jody,
Can you tell me, does your son like his job? Is he happy?

He thinks he will fly but if he has some others to ride he might come in his car so he will have it here for the whole time. Is yours needsing a ride? Justin is in the 125 is yours?

He is flying to his gf on Thanksgiving break and they are coming here for Christmas. I still am not sure when he is coming though.

Is your sailor still in Lemoore? Justin is finally out of school and in the squadron (VFA125). He had wisdom teeth out today and then back to work. He is liking it and ready to get into the shop and be busy. Just touching base. MM

Hi Jody, I was just wondering if most kids go to regular squadrons after being with 125 for awhile? Is he happy with 125, mine seems to be ok with being with them. Hes tired of being in Lemoore and hasn't been there that long!! :)

I guess it will have to be a Saturday. I don't forsee Janice being able to get off on Fridays, once School starts.
-Reed looked up Shane, Reed is now the Recruit commander or something and Shane is his lieutenant. As you can see I am clueless with the correct command names. I thing Reed got the job because is is the longest DEPer there. He also said something about always having his Navy shirt on and know the creed by heart.
-He said he didn't know why I wanted him to meet Shane. I guess it is a female thing. We always think they will want some sort of connection. His deal is, he and Shane will not be in Boot Camp together - so why bother. Know this about the Male does make it easier to understand.
-I need to get off the computer and get ready to leave the house.
-Talk to you latter about getting together.
Carole
