Joey ~ did you know our daughter's know each other? LOL Was talking to Melissa yesterday and she said Katie told her "You know, our moms talk on N4Ms!" LOL Katie is right across the hall from Melissa in Delta Barracks. Just thought I would pass that along to you.

Nice to meet another FL Mom! Love your pic. That's where I go every chance I get! I would never survive away from the beach. It's in my blood. Something soothing about the sea and the crashing waves. Where in Fl are you? How's your daughter doing so far? Have a great weekend! Karen

Joey. Hi. I thought I had written you the other day, but I don't see the comment here. We had a wonderful wedding. I posted pictures to http://photobucket.com/groomsmom and the password is bobanderin. I heard from Bobby today and he got his housing. They were able to secure a very nice two story home with a large kitchen, three bedrooms and hardwood floors. He is very excited and I am excited for him. Not bad for a 21 year old. They will move in on June 10. Luckily we have lots of extra furniture that we have been storing for just such an occasion and will have it delivered here for the movers to pick up. Erin has an Aunt in the CT area that will be giving them a queen size bed and a washer and dryer that they are getting rid of as they remodel their home. So the kids are making out really well. Bobby will class up on Tuesday and will taking morning classes from 6am -2pm. That will give them the afternoons to spend together. He will be there for at least another 6-8 months and hopefully may be stationed there for his first duty station. That would be great as he loves it there and they will be a bit settled at that point. Who knows, they may be ready for a change in that time. Glad Katie is starting school. That will be great for her and just a relief to start on the road to the next phase. Hope all is well with you. Will keep in touch. Sorry this is so long.

Joey. Wedding is over, it was wonderful. The kids are so happy and in love. Bob was home for 9 days but only had to use 4 leave days as he met with his recruiter and was able to work out something. The wedding was Friday and he was back in Groton on Sunday night. Erin will follow in a few weeks. He has a meeting with housing tomorrow and will find out when they can move in. He is not sure when school will start again. I'm in no rush as I would love him to be in Groton for a while longer. We are going to try and get up there this summer. My sister and her kids, (she and her husband were stationed up there for a few years) and my parents are planning a trip late July early August. You can see pictures on http://photobucket.com/groomsmom the password is bobanderin. Talk to you soon. Hope Katie is doing well!

Hi, I'm Becky and I see that you are in my area. I would like to be included in any Navy Mom "stuff" down here. My son Tyler is up in A school in Pensacola right now. He graduated boot camp on Jan 23 and has been waiting to be classed up (?) apparently he just got it. Please keep me posted on any events. Thanks.

Just checking in to see how the "recruiter recognition" went. I mailed cards so I didn't get to see the expression on faces. Thanks so much for joining in!

Wow she has had to wait awhile! Our tax dollars at work eh? Dre is in Italy now. We had such a great visit with him here! Three weeks! It was awesome, but now he is going on an adventure of a lifetime! He will get to go see many countries! I am excited for him, but miss him! We have Ichat or skype so we can talk to him face to face and hear his voice and it doesn't cost a thing! What a great invention! It helps alot... We are good here. How is all over your way? we will have to talk soon, just been so busy. take care and talk soon!

Joey: I'm so glad you're joining in the Recruiter Recognition "card Party". If anyone deserves a little attention it is certainly those dedicated floks! I just wanted to remind you to check with your recruiting office to make sure they will be in on Saturday....have heard that some of them may not be. You don't need to tell them why you're calling....I would just hate for you to bake, show up with their surprise, only to find the office closed! A lot of the moms that are taking "goodies" are delivering them on Friday....don't know if that works for you.
