Hey Joni! It was AWESOME! We had so much fun! We are tired out tough. Good grief it was a whirlwind trip. I would do it over and over again though. We are not sure what or when he will be leaving now. They keep changing things. If he stays in GL then I plan to go up again this summer. Just sitting on hold right now.

Oh Joni: I am so sorry you'll miss Zach's first bithday away from home. That's a hard one....especially when you have the ability to be there! Cory turned 20 when he and I were driving his car to Virginia. If you're in town I hope you can make the potluck / picnic. I's really like to meet you!

Joni: Navy for Moms has ben invited to atend the Noth Central Dep meeting/picnic on April 4th. It will be at Cortez Park on 35th Ave and Dunlap. There is a lagoon with ducks and a playground, so bring the family! We will be supplying potluck dishes, chips, paper products and plastic utensils. It's posted on the "Events" page. It's a chance for us to support moms who have kids soon leaving for bootcamp...and a time for us to get together! Please come if you can. Can't wait to meet you (we've probably passed each other a hundred times at Frys!).

Joni: Thanks for checking in. I got Cory to the airport. His girlfriend rode with us....as much as I would have liked the last hour with him all to myself it was probably a good thing I had her along for the ride back home. Just when you think you're used to having them gone....they come home and it starts all over again when they leave. I wonder if it will ever get any easier! Cory is my youngest and I've been a single mom, so when he leaves the house is very empty. But, I babysit my grandson tonight so that ought to keep me busy!!!

JonI; I can't seem to post a message on your page....don't know what the problem is....my computer has been acting up all day! You're right...we live just blocks apart. I'm on Monroe Street!! I'll be at the potluck on the 7th so we'll see eack other then. Cory is home on leave but heads back to Virginia tomorrow. It goes by way to fast.
