***** MEET MY SON... THE SAILOR******

Profile Information

About me:
It's my privilege to be the Mother of Kyle (19) and Jason (2) and to be married to a loving man. I'm a stay at home Mom and a Part-Time 911 Dispatcher. My husband and I are so proud of Kyle and his decision to join the Navy, I know this is only the beginning of many good things to come. Kyle's New Years resolution in 4th grade was to have a "Happy Life".....enjoy and embrace this opportunity son, and know we are here on the sidelines cheering you on. All our love
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
You can never tell your child enough how proud you are. Love them support them, they are our future.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hey lady, so I was lurking around and I saw that Kyle has changed directions in his chosen Navy Path? Thought it looked like you might be needing this link in the near future?

(They haven't been super active lately, but I'm sure there's some useful info to be found) Catch me up when you get a moment! Hope all is well with you and yours. ((HUGS)) :-)

Jor-Jean,
School is going ok... I have all of my IEP meetings done, and the paperwork for them, just waiting to see if I have to rewrite anything before it can be submitted to the State... my supervisor is a little nit-picky...
Graduate school is going slow, and I am still waiting on my advisor to ok my notes so that I can write my paper... ugh!

Don't worry about lunch...I've been on the phone all morning with my brothers about my parents money trouble, so it actually worked out better. Looks like the boys took the long route, when we drove out last year we took 10 most of the way. I'm sure they will enjoy the drive and the freedom from the base! Sounds like the room we have here for Steven, Tasha our vizsla and cats love to sleep on his bed. I now keep a sheet on it so I don't have to wash it so much. Have a great visit with Kyle!!!
See ya soon! Linda

Yes, (Major Bummer!) But I understand, with Kyle coming home again so soon I know you have plenty to do and of course he's top priority. Well he get 10 days off again. What ever works for you works for me. Still trying to figure things out with my parents, my dad has created a major financial mess. Now I know why I moved back. Thank you for asking.

Is your weather as wonderful as ours, rainy and windy...Yea

Steven started RSS training today, can't wait to see how the first day went.

School is rough right now. I am doing a hybrid class (17 weeks of work done in 5 weeks, only thing is just found out have to do it in 4 weeks because of Fall break) plus three other "normal" classes. I have never been a full time college student and it is taking some time to get used to it and making sure I get my homework done BEFORE I start reading N4M. I miss our old gang too. So is Kyle in Coronado now? When is he going to try for special ops? Good to know Jason still knows his big brother. Do you use webcams to keep up the relationship? My son is in NYand seems to be adjusting to being at the training unit 14 hours a day. Well have three classes tomorrow so need to get myself off to bed. Just didn't want to keep putting off answering you!

Doing pretty well... think we may swap cars here some time next month, though! He is saying that Nicole would be able to drive the Buick easier than the Jeep, and he knows I could handle the Jeep, so... At this point in time they are not starting a family, thank goodness! Nicole was a little worried, but all is ok for now. I just hope they can get their finances under control a little better before that happens!

Hi Jor-jean, That's great so Kyle will start training for SWCC, and he get 10 more days of leave, Yahoo! I'm sure your happy about that. Now that he going to be in San Diego you'll be able to see him more!!! If we need to change the lunch date I'll understand. lol
Just got back Monday night from p-cola, had a great time loved seeing Steven. With Ross traveling so much (hotel points) we got to stay on p-cola beach had a great view of the gulf. Steven loved getting off the base and sleeping in a real bed the first night we were able to have adjoining rooms so the boys could have some brother time. It was nice sitting on the beach at night and talking. Patrick found a little Nerf football so they tossed it around in the dark, that was fun considering they could not see it. lol I'll fill you in more at lunch. You'd be proud I did not cry when we said good-bye! We'll see how Christmas goes. Linda
