My Jarrod was home for a week and a half. Then packed up his house and family and drove 3 days to Washington. His ship is out to sea right now, so I don't know if they will fly him there or not. I hope he can stay on shore and get his wife and kid...

brandons got orders to come home for 14days then to hsl-49 (Scorpians) helecopter squadron in san diego ca. hopefully he can leave sat or sunday
Well Niki started her combat school hope to be finish in few weeks so she joint up with her Batt some were over sea. She hoping by the end of Nov.
Tina is in ATT School and date for GL A School hasn't been communicated yet. Rumors are around Mid January-February.
I'm glad you will get to see Molly for Christmas. This will be my first Christmas ever away from Jarrod.
Molly is still in A school at Pensacola, she will be home for Christmas right after her graduation, still not sure if she will get an assignment or have a C school, that info will come whenever the Navy deems it needed

Yea, David's schooling is long, he's in the Nuke program. It's a tough program schooling wise, (electronics, physics, advanced math and the nuke power school), like the Seal program is tough physically

- Joy, that's actually my middle name! Brad is 23. he's been an auto teck & decided he didn't want to do just that his whole life-even tho he loves cars. He's been researching the Navy for about a year before he signed up. I know he made the best decision he could. I'm so proud & happy... I think he's going to love it! He enlisted for 6 years. can't wait til the 24th! His sister & girlfriend are fretting on what to wear lol. they've been shopping together buying new outfits....give me strength 11 more days! where are you from again?

- Hi Joy, still only had the 1 phone call from my son Brad. sounds like maybe their phone privileges in 252 got taken away again. I just wrote him my weekly letter. hope he made it thru battle stations ok. sounded like it was going to be tough. i'm hoping to get a letter tues or wed. to see what's going on in his div.

- Hi Shelley - last time we spoke to Brandon was on July 3rd - maybe like Brandon because he talked to us he didn't need to write also. Since we didn't hear him this weekend we are assuming we will get that letter on Wednesday. In the picture to the left, Brandon is on the far left. On the slideshow pics, he is the football player (long hair). My older son, Mikey, is in the Navy white's - he graduated last November. Where is your son going to A-School? Did you son leave on May 26th? Brandon mentioned making friends with a couple of AZ kids. Yes - I am a AZ Mom - live in East Mesa.
Oh, I can't take the credit for the countdown clock - not sure who put that on (maybe Joe?). Where are you staying in Chicago? We are staying at Marriott Springhill Suites in Lincolnshire. Let's keep in touch.

I haven't heard from Ben since July 3 - no letter this week so makes me a little nervous - not like him not to write on Sundays with a letter delivery on Wednesdsays. So yep, hoping for this week! I know things are getting intense again as they prepare for their final weeks! Which one is Brandon in the slide show pics? I'm sure our sons have been through a lot together. Perhaps we'll meet in Chicago! Are you an AZ Mom?? So am I! We live in Glendale! Thanks for adding the countdown clock!

I see you son went in on may 27 and you have recieved a letter already. My daughter Tiffany went in on May 20 and still havent got a letter, isnt that odd?
I did get the Navy official letter with comments on it and that is it. she said she has letter to send out in her locker but are unable to. Another mom in the same division hasnt got a letter either. would you have any input for us as you have been down this rough road before. I must say it isnt easy. o,k, it sucks.
Maybe tomorrow we will get the letter, I just about given up all together.

Jay has wanderlust (from me) was working- never could get xtra $$$$ wanted to move had several relationships that did not work ( the next guy they both married- yikes) tried working & some college etc etc. talked about it for a few years- we politically probably are not real military- I was against it- saw other ways . But finally he knew he needed to get outta here and do something- I can totally see him as a sailor now and am very proud of him to do it( amazing how we change isn't it?) I know he wants to see the world and possibly move back to Hawaii one day (the 1 time he moved out was to Mauai)
Sooo there is probably more to the story for him - this is my take.
