Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
The opportunities to advance and make a career of the NAVY seem very encouraging. The whole experiance has happened so quickly for my family, my daughter signed up less than two weeks ago. She was only in the DEP program for ten days before she was sworn in and left for boot camp.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Judi/ What happened to Hannah? I feel so fortunate, I hear form Binky at least once a day now that she has a cell phone. Right now she is in a home that is transitional, I think I have this right, she said something about having to move again in about 10 to 14 days, but I could have gotten that wrong. She says that A school is on hold, something like they can go at their own pace and some didn't finish as quickly as they should have, so they have to wait for a spot to open up. That's about all I know. Fill me in if you hear anything.

Hi!!! One of Binky's requests was to shower/bathe by herself, so I'm taking clorox clean up to give the tub a good cleaning. She can soak as long as she wants.
Can't wait to meet you, and your family.

Judi, Hope you have had a good weekend. I have been so excited about seeing our recruits that there is not one person that has come into contact with me that doesn't know about PIR 9/25/09. I know it's silly, but I am so proud of them I can not help myself.

Hope your Sunday is going well! Justin didn't say anything about staying, but his A-school is at GL so he will be there for a while longer. I am just praying he can get in a class quickly and not end up waiting like so many others I have seen here on NFM's. He told his girlfriend that a few people from his division had not passed a test and would be held back if they did not score well on Monday. So I have been praying for those recruits as well. Justin does not have the shaving problem, but he has ran out of soap. He said some of his brothers share, but he had to wait on them to finish....so less time to bathe. They both seem to be hanging in there. We just need to keep the positive letters going. I would love to write to Hannah if you think she would like it. You can send her info to me in a private message. Talk to you agian soon.

Hello Judi, Sorry I have been away for a while. My husband and I have a youth ministry and we have been very busy the past few days. I did get a call from him and it made my week. He was in good spirits and is doing well. He even told me in his letter yesterday that he has new navy brothers and they really help each other. He said the division is really great. He told me on the phone call they are all counting down the days. He also wrote a letter to my husband, kind of a forgive me for the way I have been. It was really a tear jerker....He is like a totally different person in such a short time. I hope all your news was good and look forward to the next letters and news. Have a good weekend.

Judi, I think it was good news on the (cyst). I use to work for a phathology lab and almost 99% of the time if the doctor thought it was a cyst it was :) No calls for me, but like you...no news is good news. I did get a letter on Friday and he passed the test as well. I hope you have a great week! Hugs!
