Well I sent him off a sub mail yesterday. I was hoping when I checked this morning I'd have something back, but NOOOO. Typical! Luckily it's my busy time of year with all the craft shows coming up, so I won't be able to worry quite so much!!

My son got on stage with Toby Keith!

woooooo I am SO excited! I was able to ask Toby to pull my oldest son up on stage for his encore songs at Toby Keith's Mountain View, CA concert this past Sunday ............

Orders!

My Submariner finally received his first orders.........Allan graduates A School next month and will be stationed in Hawaii............He is as happy as can be! We were hoping for San Diego but I'm happy that he is so thrilled! Guess I know where we'll be going on vacation this coming year!! Glad I saved up my Delta skymiles!!!! Well, at least we'll only have an ocean between us instead of all those states! And at least it's the SAME ocean!! It doesn't seem quite as far away as CT, LOL (:

The surprise went PERFECT!!
Allan was able to catch an earlier flight home so instead of arriving at 11pm he landed at 7pm instead.
My oldest son Jonathan is also in the Navy and stationed in Lemoore, CA. he is the only one who knew that his little brother was coming home and because he misses him so much (they have been best friends since they were baby's) drove down to surpirse him and the rest of us.

Hello Judi and i will just looking for my sons submarine group but couldnt find one when you came up!! My son just graduated from Groton and drove cross country with my husband to be in SAN DIEGO. Does the bus run at night? That was where the problem was, unless Alex didn't want to wait the 45 min.??? He called last night and he was riding to work on base with 3 other guys and they were sitting in the road and a car missed a stop sign and hit a car which hit him and pushed them completely off the road. Two of the guys had to go to get checked out, but Alex was okay he thought. What do they do with their car when they are deployed?

Thanks so much for getting back to me. Alex called and said he needs his car desperately. He said they don't have transportation to get him to work so we may be driving 30 hours here real soon to drop off his car! I do have a few questions about cars on base. Does the car have to be in his name and does it have to have California license plates on it. How about insurance, can we just keep the policy at home?

good morning and thanks for responding! Cam is in Coronado. I want to place that's decent for us to hang at. Maybe a pool, not too far from Cam, near the beach. On the weekend he is going to stay with me and his younger brother. Not a 4 star but not crappy either. No more than 100.00 a night? Someone had mentioned the Gateway Inn?? Can't find it on the web?? thank again for suggestions!

sorry about that i thought you had a daughter. Well what do your sons do?Child care wow i have been a little interested in that since i have helped all my sisters raise their kids.One of my sister gave up her kids, so my mom raised them so they where like my brothers. but it was good experience now since i have my little girl.
