Hi ladies, Thank you! We enjoyed our trip, its a beautiful place to visit with a lot to do. The bike ride was great, even with the crazy traffic. The best part was getting to take my son and his wife to see the island as they had not done that since…

Hi Judy :)

Please go ahead and read "Things to do, see and eat on Oahu" on Hawaii page. I am still adding stuff there.

Things I don't want you to miss are, PCC(Polynesian Cultural Ceneter), Aloha stadium swap meet, Kailua/Lanikai beach, Tantalus, walking around Waikiki, Arizona memorial....

When I had a friend over, I always took them on a half island drive. Starting Pearl Harbor, head towards Diamond head on H1, it ends and turn into Kalanialaole HWY. You'll drive through Hawaii kai, Diamond head area, Hanauma bay, Makapuu beach, Kailua/Kaneohe, PCC. Stop by one of the shrimp stand in Kahuku then head to Waimea falls. Stop at Haleiwa in north shore and have some shaved ice. Start heading south on Kamehameha HWY and onto H2. H2 will take you back to Pearl harbor. This is a very long drive and it will take all day but you get to see most everything you should see.

What are you into? What do you want to see? What do you want to do? What do you want to bring home from HI? What do you want to eat?

I can give you more advice if you can give me more info. I really hope you'll have a great time on Oahu!

Hi Judy,
You are more than welcome for the seats, I am just happy that they can be used and I know your girls will be so happy to get to go! Drive careful and have a lot of fun - so far it looks like the weather will be great!

Good Morning Judy~ Yes, I am super excited to see Andrew. I know he has lost a ton of weight so it is going to be a jaw dropping moment I am sure. Can't wait to hug him hello. I am wearing a white sundress with red anchors on it. It isn't formal but is a little on the dressier side. My Husband will be wearing dockers and a button down shirt. Myself and Andrew's girlfriend are attending the dinner on Thursday night so we will see you there.

Hi Judy,
I'm making nametags on my computer for everyone attending the dinner on Thursday. So glad you are going to try to make it! If you could give me the names of those who will be with you, and their relationship to your recruit, I'm trying to personalize the tags with the extra info. Since you are a member of the Kansas navy Moms group, you hail from there, right? Can't wait to meet you!

Hi Judy, We heard from Sam yesterday and he is counting the days. They are so busy that he didn't even realize today was Father's Day! How is David doing - is his knee holding up? I reminded Sam about the seats again. Do you need all four seats? Ann is needing a seat for Andrew's girlfriend if there is one available. I see that you guys are still having severe weather in Kansas. I am leaving for Minneapolis tomorrow and hoping that I don't run into storms.

Judy~ Did you get a call today from David? How is his knee holding out? Andrew called today and said that his is doing better but still has pain in it from time to time.

Judy~ Andrew's thoughts are the same in that he doesn't want to go to medical and get ASMO'D. That would stink at this point!! I am just praying that both of their knees start behaving.

Oh my gosh Judy! That is such a great deal for the tickets!! Thank you so much for sharing that info with me. Andrew is doing great and passing all his tests too. He said that he had just passed the PT2 test. He is also having a knee issue of some sort. He said he is not sure what he did to it but he is refusing medical and just getting ice each night and icing it. I sure hope that helps and it is nothing more than the pulled muscle.

Judy~ I just thougth I would check in with you and Cheryl. I have missed you ladies on our group so I came to see you both. Wasn't it great to get the call again on Saturday after only speaking to them 10 days previous. I was sooooo not expecting that phone call yet. Anyway, let me know how you and your Son are doing.

Judy, if you go out on the board, and read about PIR, you will find they do not turn anyone away at graduation. You can bring more then 4, as long as they have ids.
