There are thousands of troops and the Major that I am in contact with is really concerned about his troops. So anything would be appreciated. I've asked for specific needs, but he says anything.

Judy, my son played football, soccer, basketball and ran track in high school..kind of a jock..and now he is a nuke. I think that Rugby is harder than football, no helmuts...eeekkk I dont know if he played in Singapore, he just told me he has some cleats coming from Eastbay and to forward them as soon as they come...

Thanks for your note, Judy! John sounds like Trevor in that regard - I once sent him to Bible Camp with a stack of preaddressed post cards - all he had to do was write Hi on them and he never used one! I'm trying to be patient and am steeling myself not to cry when/if he does call.

Hi Judy,
I saw you on the Nimitz group and decided to look at your profile.

We have a lot in common. I too was a single parent. I've never lived in CO, but have a son who lives in Denver. I have another son, Richard, who will be on the Nimitz soon. He told me that we're not supposed to announce that he is IS, but I guess it's ok, huh?
You said your son, Trevor, has been on the Nimitz for 20 months. How long has he been in the Navy. Does he enjoy it? Do you think Trevor would be willing to contact Richard? He'd like to know someone before he gets there.
