I'm curious. Did he request LeJeune out of A school? I heard most Corpsman (not girls) would go FMTB, but haven't heard how they decide between LeJeune and Pendleton. Has anyone else heard?

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I learned alot through the Recruiters Office. They were very helpful. Also this site was the best thing to find out about. I don't know what I would do with out these mom's.Its nice to have someone to talk to that is going through the same thing.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

Hi Julie!
I saw your post on the Corpsmen moms page and I just wanted to say hi, especially since my fiance is graduating from A school on the same date =]! how is your daughter doing so far?
Hi Julie,
our son completed A school at GL in Sept....it is soo much better than Basic! The only down side was 'watch' once a month on weekends...but once they were in the civilian clothes phase and were able to leave on weekends life was much more normal. THe dorm rooms a decent -- 2 to a room -- 2 rooms share a bathroom. The food is good -- and the final week the kids all return to Boot camp and take blood, etc. very interesting. We loved being able to speak to our son whenever at night -- since he had a cell phone.
Best wishes for the new year!!
Julie, Congrats on your daughter!! I'm sorry but I haven't spoken with Mark since he got into "A" school. I can tell you, I would bet he loves it!! Mark has told us the hardest part of all of this is the fact that he is away from family. He is married and has a 5 month old son. His father is about to have open heart surgery also. I found out yesterday he will be home on the 19th for the holidays and i am sure I will get a world of info then and I will share whatever I can! Happy to meet you and congrats on your daughter!
