Hi June

My daughter is stationed in Point Loma. She's been there since April of this year. My younger daughter is going there to visit her in a few days. I made reservations for her to stay at the Navy Gateway Inn and Suites. It is right there on the base where my daughter is stationed. Perhaps you will want to check it out. It is 37.00 a nite to stay there. You will need your son to check you in when you get there. The phone number there is 1-877-628-9233. The Point Loma sub-base 3 digit code is 764. I hope this helps!

I really enjoyed it. Mike dropped me off at 8A.M andpicked me up at 6 P.M. I took sections and after each section I would go sit down eat my snack-and coke. Then I would go around and look again.I bought some stuff and saw some great ideas.I know I look forward to going next year.I didn't do any cropping there. One of my groups had a table reserved but it was going to cost me $40.00 extra to go crop all day-I decided to use that as spending money instead. So I have my house all cleaned up-mike is out of town this week so guess what I am doing this week.

Hey June! Welcome back-hopefully you won't leave us again. How is Jeff doing?Has he got to meet Heather yet? She is Harbor Patrol now.Now that you are back you can add some pictures. I'm sure I have added a few to mine since you have been gone. I am going to try and add my July 4th picture some time this week. This Friday is the Scrapbook Expo-Which means I plan on shopping and cropping all day. I am getting a table with some of my scrap buddies and we are going to lunch and dinner together.shopping first and then I will do some cropping after lunch.I am looking forward to it.

Lastnight I setup a MySpace acct. with some help from my daughter. For now it's just basically there. I don't know how you keep up with having N4M, myspace and facebook. I only have one friend that does myspace and all the rest don't bother with any of that...just plain email. I really haven't had any use up until now. It will be a great way to stay in touch and share pictures with my boys especially. I used to think I was pretty good with the computer too and I am in many aspects. I have not been able to figure out how to do things here on my page however. Nothing I do seems to work (addind pics, music, etc.) I 'm planning on having my son see if he can help me when he comes home. From the little I saw lastnight I think myspace is much easier.
It's been a good weekend. My husband has been on call at the hospital all weekend long... he's been very busy and just left again. My daughter came home on Friday night and we went out to dinner and a movie. Then yesterday we went to lunch with a friend of mine. I look forward to weekends to spend with my daughter. Take Care and have a great week. : )

Hi June,
Thanks for dropping a line my way. I read your page and I see that Jeffrey has been gone for over a year onboard ship. That's a long time and I know it must make for a difficult time for all. I'm so happy to hear however that he is home on leave currently. I hope your time together is more than you even wished for. Enjoy every moment!
Thanks for sharing how you stay in touch with Jeffrey. I don't have a "my space" page but I have been thinking about getting one. All three of my kids have them.
Thanks again. Look forward to staying in touch. Kim
