- My name is Janice, my son Justin is in the Navy this is his second year, the first year was really hard for me, it hurt so bad when he went away,boot camp was the worst,you cant talk to them,and not knowing how he was broke my heart, I remember how hard that was, but you just have to pray to god that he brings our boys home to us, or should I say our men, one more thing, someone once said to me, your son will go in a boy but come home a man,so true... - Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- I have learned that how the Navy has changed my son's life, befor Justin went into the Navy he was headed down the wrong road and he new that, one morning Justin got off the couch where he was sleeping and said to me, you know mom I don't want to wake up on a couch anymore, he was out with friends the night before doing things that he was not suppost to do, and nights like that went on for some time, when Justin went to the Navy his life changed for the better, what keep's me going is that Justin loves it... I'm so happy for him and the family is so proud of him as well,Justin I love and miss you dearly, mom
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

- Hi, Justin's Mom! If you can't make dinner this month, mark Oct 19 on your calendar and join us next month! We're always at Olive Garden in Avon on third Mondays. Just tell the hostess you're with Navy Moms. I'm REALLY looking forward to meeting you because I live in Avon too, but only since last summer when we moved here from Texas. I'm always looking for a new buddy! Hugs, k.
