- Hi K, I'm a friend of Brenda Sue's too. If you look on the WA/Ore Moms Group, (you can find it on my page) there is a picture of a pre homecoming gathering that happened last night. Molly, Shell, Diane and three of the RMD wives, Heather, Tiffany and Autumn Dawn were all there. Wish we had had contact info for you! Would have loved for you to get to know everyone ahead of time. If you came in Monday, someone could have picked you up at your hotel so you could have joined us! We're all here just to support wives and Moms of RMD Sailors and give hugs and Navy Mom love to lonely Sailors with no one to greet them when they come off the Ship. =)
Well, we will all be on the pier waving a big WELCOME HOME SAILORS banner, so look for us and we'll look for you. Wish your icon photo had a pic so I knew who to scan for. :) Hope you had a smooth flight and if we don't see you, have a safe trip home. So glad you get to see Micheal and have him home again. - AW - I am soooooooo jealous of you getting to go to the RMD homecoming! A few of my "special friends" are going! I see you have "talked" with Diane - we went to New York City together last summer! Molly (from Oregon and "Molly's Adopt a Sailor) and Shell (from North Dakota) are going to be there also! Give them a special hug from me!! I even think my sister from Texas (Anna Colleen) is going up there also. Just not sure if she is going to the homecoming or not.
My son was not on the Truman. I just happened to be in Virginia when it came in! An AWESOME experience!! I cannot imagine how much better it would be if my son was aboard!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
