About me:
I am a single mother of 3 my oldest is in the Navy and I raised them on my own without child support and my oldest was going through a very tough time as a teen. I had to give him tough love if I hoped for him to straighten out. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. But it was the right dissicon to make for him to join or he was going to go down a really bad road. Now he is a man to be proud of. I have always carried the wait of my childrens success on my sholders by myself without any support even for my parents. It has been a very tough road. My proudest momnets now in life is watching as my children are becoming succesful adults. I have a lot to be proud of and grateful for and I thank God every day for keeping me and my children safe. I am now a grandmother of 2 very cute babies.
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
In the NROTC program
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Learning to let my son grow up and be an individual and helping support him when he didnt want to rejion and helping through the tough times. I am so very proud of him now he has been in for 8 years
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Dear Karen,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
What's your son's name and what is his rate?

My daughter Kim is in Virginia on the USS Normandy. Her ship is docked, so she's doing odd jobs. SHe was trained to read the radar.

I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.

Hello & Welcome to N4M’s!
My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine
