You are lucky that it still worked! I would have been extremely mad if that had happened!!! I took two cameras to make sure I got everything...but there's only so much you can get of the division just standing there. And, I don't think anything could have ever captured the ceremony and do it justice! I thought it was very moving and very nice! I did order a DVD (actually just ordered it last week) and I'm hoping that it will bring back all of the emotion too. It was just the two of us (Aaron's Dad and I) that went up there...there was no way to make it fair for the grandparents so we decided to just take no others unless Aaron requested it) and I know the grandparents would love to see the DVD!!! But, now I have to wait up to 6 weeks for delivery...wish they would let you download a copy online or something!!! But, at least they sell them!!!

I hope you have a great Christmas if I don't talk to you again before then. Please express my gratitude to your son for his service!!! I consider each and every one of them a hero!!!

Take care,

~Marianne~

Hi There Karen! Ohh, that's great news, I'm glad he's liking Pensacola and he gets to come home for Christmas, that's just awesome!!! Our son has been battling a horrible cold, but tells me he is on the mend, and he classed up on Friday. He was very excited about thatbecause he didn't think he'd start classes until January. He said he worked like an animal today, going through the modules.....and they were headed to get some dinner. ;-) It's so awesome to be able to talk to them! Such a relief. Not that we talk every day, but knowing you can if you want to is just awesome!!! Good to hear from you. Are you going to the get together on Saturday? We couldn't make it our daughter has a basketball tournament, but I do plan on going to Tucson in January. If you want to go, we could carpool, if you'd like. We can decide once it gets a little closer. Have a great night. Staci

I am glad that some others could enjoy the pictures!!! I was disappointed in how they turned out (I was in the balcony and the lighting up there was not that great!!! Aaron is taking some of the training in GL and then he will go to Pensacola for A school (AT) also. Aaron does get to come home from the 19th to the 4th!!! What division was your son in in BC?

Good afternoon Karen, I hope you're having a Super Sunday! My sailor was allowed to choose 3 places he wanted to go after "A" school, he'd always wanted to go to California, so that was an easy choice, he was blessed to have gotten what he wanted,,(when he was about 14 or so he said he was going there to live on the beach and let the girls keep him up,,he'd fit right in because he's blond and blue-eyed,,) how things change,,he's grown and matured so much in the past year and a half,,looking forward to talking with you again, prayers, Erelene
