thanks, he is with the VFA-125 in Lemoore right now. he ended up only getting charged with 4 days leave because they deducted the 7 days he could have used to drive from the number of days he was gone....and he will get reimbursed for his gas, hotel…

my son will be driving from Ohio to his new command in Lemoore CA.
he only has 12 days leave. does he have to use part of his leave for the travel time for him to drive 3-4 days to CA? or does he get 4 days after his 12days leave???

- New Navy Mom and could not be prouder of my son's decision.
I myself am a former Marine. but the Marine Corps or the world today is not what it was 25 yrs ago. So his Dad and I were not keen on the idea of him going in the Marines, even though we truely understood why he would want to be a Marine. Anyway, He will be in Aviation and he can't wait to get started with his new life and experiences.

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
