I am joining this site in order to help Navy Moms (like my awesome MIL Kelly) and fellow wives, better understand what their sailors are going through. I am quite knowledgeable in Navy history, terms ("lingo"), and the way things tend to go. Please, ask me any questions you may have, I would love to help you out!

Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Well, as a wife I have learned, the most important thing is to not worry. Ha! Just kidding, that's impossible. But, I would say the most important thing is to remember that our sailors are well-educated, and staying as safe as possible. And, to try our best to encourage them and one another in place of worrying.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

LOL, yeah i have noticed that we have the same views towards things w2hen it comes to miitary life. lol.. My husband wants san diego but if its anything like the ET's we'll be in bangor, lol. that would be cool. im all happy now, i know people in VA, san diego and now bangor hehehe

Connecticut, we are getting orders fairly soon tho (maybe haha darn hurry up nd wait) he graduates a school july 16th and then we find out, all his ET's in his class got sent to bangor so we'll see where we get sent lol

Karysa,
I got the name Donna from the message that Regina sent to Mary. I didn't realize she was talking about the message before. Mary is my DIL. They met last May, saw each other 3 times and got married in July. He hasn't gone out yet, suppose to be within the next couple of wks, then back to WA when they come back that is why I was asking how long they are usually in Home Port before going out again. I know you can't give me exact dates and time.
