You are so welcome Kas, you and he have already built the foundation in your relationship so him forgetting just how much he loves you and misses you won't happen. Yes it is a female thing but men have the same worries too, just keep doing what you have always done by communicating with each other all the time whether it be letters, email or texting. Now the first couple of weeks of BC he won't be able to call or right because of what he will be doing. I just want to reassure you it's not becuase he does'nt want to or is forgetting you.
Once you get your first letter you will jump for joy.
My son's name is Ryan as well. Pretty popular name back in the 80's any way his girlfriend is joining the Army. I think it is great that she has chosen to serve our great country. Yes it takes a strong woman to do that but it also takes a strong woman to handle being a military girlfriend or wife. You are that strong woman.
It's different for moms, when our children make the choice to join the Navy or any of the other branches of the military we have to respect that decision and support them the best we can, what won't kill us only makes us stronger.
keep me posted on how things are going.
Hugs
Sandy

Welcome aboard!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

Please let me know if you have any questions I can help you with.
