When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Have all your information and everyone elses on you at all times not just in your cell phone that might die when your not near a charge to charge it when your child needs information for his background check
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

My son just found out he will soon be a 2nd Class Petty Officer. He passed in the 98th percentile of all the that took the test to promote!

Yes, my son has put in to come home for Mother's Day! I hope he gets it. He would be here for 2 weeks. I can't wait.

Checking In

Checking with ALL Navy Parents. My son is still at North Island in San Diego, he has applied for a White House Comms job. I'm excited that he did. I think it would be a fabulous job to have. At least he would know what he's doing for the next 4 years. He just passed his anniversary mark February 21st! I'm so proud of him. I can't wait to hear updates from everyone.

Going to Visit

Yeah, now that my son is stationed at a location that is actually with in my budget to travel too I get to go see him next month. He starts "C" school this month so I'm excited for him. We will be heading to San Diego second week of next month. Yeah....

I'm still an IT2 Select, they haven't frocked me yet. I got 70 points out of 80 on the test (Bell curve) So I'm one of the first to get paid.

Hi my son will PIR from Navy boot camp on 7/25. He will be going to FLorida for his A school, but thinks he has to wait in Illinois for a couple of months before going. He is doing air rescue.

He went into medical april 1st roughly with biateral stress fractures was just about healed and going back in for PIR may 30th and they found another one in his ankle so they put him on crutches this time and sat for another 3.5 weeks now he is 4 days from graduating and should go to sub school in groton
