Hey Katy love love your pictures. Keep them coming. You and your boy are so cute. Love those mama pictures and it made me cry. My son has been in the Navy for almost 8 years now and cant believe how it seems like yesturday when he left that really sad day. God I really didnt think i would make it through the sadness of it all but i did. I do still have my days. I came to NFMs after spending almost 4 months at Fort Sam Houston Army Base in Texas. On the base was a spectacular Medical facility called the Brook Army Medical Center home one of the best burn units in this country. I was sad when i found out that my best friends son in law was involved in a bombing in Iraq in November 7 2007. Don was a soldier in the Army driving an officer to her destination when they ran over an IED killing her instantly and throwing Don out of his vehicle. He tried to help the officer not realizing that she was gone. He then ended up at the Brook Army Medical Center at Fort Sam HOuston in grave condition, burned over 83% of his body and i came from NY to help take care of his young wife and 3 children while living on this base. When it was all over, I finally came home and found myself so sad and just terrified that my son Eric was in harms way. That started after I left Texas and came home. So i was feeling depressed when i came to NFMs. Thank God this place is here. I felt so much better meeting people that are going thru the same things that i'm going thru missing my boy. I'm ok now but staying on that base and seeing what i saw there was tough. Evern this tough Puerto Rican girl from New York City was moved to a very sad place when i saw all those wounded young boys. So thank you for adding me and hope to get to know you and ur family;) God Bless
