I was expecting my son's wisdom teeth to be pulled during boot camp (his are also sideways) but it's been a year now, and he still has them? He's been to the dentist in boot camp, in A School, both in Pensacola and then again in Missisippi and has h…

Answering this from STATE law enforcment perspective. . .I can't imagine how he would handle this on his own, without informing his superiors in the Navy. I am CERTAIN he will have a hearing for his DUI Charge, how does he plan on attending this hea…

Jeanne. I'm still shivering :) I can remember walking to the graduation hall, with ice pellets hitting me in the face so hard it actually hurt, and then came the snow, I'm from PA and I've seen huge snow falls, but NOTHING compared to that weekend!…

Hi Turtle. . .I spent a long weekend with my son while he was in A School in Pensacola. I stayed at the Navy Lodge right on the base. The rates are VERY reasonable. I had a room over looking the ocean and they even have their own access to the beach…

Hi! Is your son an AT on the Boxer? I sent you a friend's request. Once you accept, we can exchange some info and I can ask my daughter to look out for him and help him adjust to the SD area.

Hi Jasons Proud Mom. well Poor "904" is somewhere out there! My Boy John is in 904, and wrote there are some kids in there that just not up to "speed'. Sadly, phone calls are "nill", happy to say my guy is doing good, and his thing is marching for the other "grad" groups. Oh well, for him it is a sobering expierience, he's learning that in boot camp if a few don't get with it, the rest gotta' pay the 'freight'. I hope your Son Jason is doing well. God bless, Enjoy the PIR MOM, it's your day too!! Bye, johns Dad.

We sat at the North end of the hall instead of in front of our DIV (since they were all performing anyway), so I didn't get a good angle of the drill team. Mostly from behind;) They perform right in the middle, for the most part. It would be better to sit with the division to get a good picture. Katie ended up not handing out programs at the door, but was out in the cold directing them towards the doors. The ceremony is Wonderful!!

YES, PIR was cool, but be prepared to leave your coat on your seat and walk around as its a LONG LONG wait. So long in fact, All any of us cared about was seeing our kid, to heck with the rest.
Warning, Very Hard to find your kid! We all wore red scarfs. Get a bright shirt and scarf to match and tell jason what they are so he can find you!

I don't have a digital camera, but I'll see what I can do for you. My daughter is in the 900 div as well, but she will be handing out programs, so we will see her when we arrive at the hall. we've been told no hugs or kisses until after Liberty Call.
