- Hi kathy, I am sorry to hear about your son. my son is at GL right now and will graduate on 9/3 in hope of being a Seal as well. Will he be able to remain in the Navy at least?? I will pray for him. God Bless.

- Hi Kathy, thanks for adding me as a friend. I see you are also dealing with an injury, what happened to your son and is he on hold? I've been searching for anyone who has experience with shin splints so that I can at least have some idea of what to expect and perhaps put some kind of positive spin on it for T. I see you are in Ft Lauderdale, my husband has relatives there. They used to live in Marathon which is beautiful but haven't made the trip to Ft. L....yet.

- Hello I woke up today and it is a blizzard here. My first thought was the mail could not be delivered in this weather. However I was desepertae to hear something from Brock so I put on coat, hat, gloves, boots - to walk across the lawn thru 4 - 6 foot drifts- guess what? I received a letter. The tone in the letter was much better then the previous one. It was strange that he is asking that we bring his sisters to Chicago with us.. I think my children figured out a way to conspire against Mom and Dad - even under the watch of the Navy.
I hope everyone recieved letters today, it is medicine for the soul. Have a great evening
