A group of dedicated moms knit or crochet afghans to be sent to a designated ship. Our first ship, the USS Mason, will receive its afghans when it arrives home from deployment next month. Right now, we're working on afghans for the USS Tennessee, a submarine. We all buy our own yarn and pay to ship what we've made to one mom who collects them all and readies them for shipment to the sailors. Shipping costs are our greatest obstacle, especially the major shipment to the ship or submarine. Your help with those costs is greatly appreciated!

Some how they can use the expired coupons up to 2 months after they expire. I thought it was a cool idea I am even sending the coupons that I don't use or can't give away maybe they can use them. thanks for joining.
Hope you are feeling better! It was a nice time on Saturday at the meet n' greet. I think the next one should be a BBQ so we all can just walk around and talk. It's hard to be at a table and only hear one side of all the talking!!!! What a small, small world it is. Maryclaire is a cousin-in-law, her husband Ed and My son's dad are cousins. Yes she has Jaime who is 23 and a mother of an 3 1/2 year old daughter Jasmine. Jaime is graduating from Temple with a teaching degree. John is her oldest at 26 and Joseph is 21.
Joseph is my godson and is at Millersville. How do you know Maryclaire??? Do her kids know your sailor? My sailor and Joseph are like best friends. They are only 6 weeks apart, and like I said I'm Joseph's godmother and Ed (maryclaire's husband) is Jake's godfather. This is going to blow my son away!!!! Jake 1st wanted to go to SD, but then changed his mind and wanted to stay close to home. That is why he is at Norfolk. I should be greatful, he comes home at lease once a month...It's the months that are a head he won't be coming home that I'm not sure if I can handle...but that is why we have each other...RIGHT!!!
