Thank you, Kay! I got it! Actually, I am the pastor! :) My new sailor is done with boot so i thought I'd better change it. Guess I was making it harder than it needed to be. Blessings, Tanya

Did you figure out how to change the banner at the top? I searched and your post popped up where you had tried...I can't figure it out!! Thanks for any help you can provide. Pastor Tanya Ben's mom

David signed up for 6 years. He has already said that he will not re-up. And he has told his brother that he feels sure that with 6 years Navy nuke training, he won't have trouble finding a job. I really thought the Navy was going to be "his thing" and he would stay in. I think Nuke is hard and nerve racking. We had a difficult life while he was growing up, so he deserves to enjoy what he does for a living.

I just looked at the map again and there is country road, Main St. in Locust to Faith Rd, just before I-85 at Salisbury. Wonder how many miles that would be?

You are North of Concord Mills and I am about the same distance South. So, Albemarle really isn't in the picture, lol....

Hi there Kay. Not many people know where Woodleaf is! I have one son, he will be 22 in March. He left Oct 2 for the Navy. We have made our plans to go up for graduation. My son and I both graduated from West. I keep thinking the photos on your page look familiar. I think my child plans to make a career of the Navy. After High School graduation he went to UNC-Pembroke. That lasted for 6 months. The dorm situation was not good. He has always been a responsible type, and so many of the students were away from home and Mom and Dad and it was just crazy there. He came home and enrolled at Forsyth Tech. He has always loved the ocean and boats, I should have seen this coming. It has been difficult with him being gone. I told him, you know if you had been a bad child, or a dicipline problem, I might be glad to see you leave! It was good talking to you! What years did your children graduate from west?
