my son is at sea also, not had any contact for a few weeks now, sent his care packages the 13th and hoping he gets them! Gee, it's tough not being able communicate. He usually throws emails whenever possible. This site sure helps me!

I have been a mom at home and volunteer, recently went back for a paid fulltime job at a nearby middle school teaching. Married 26 years to a wonderful man and have 2 sons. One in the Navy!

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
to support your son or daughter, this was the biggest decision they have ever made so far....and to be proud of them!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I'm so glad you like the candles! I have most definately put lots of love in them. Also, the scent I chose is called Warm Embrace. I thought it was so fitting.

Hi Kelly! The candles are $8.00 each or 2 for $15 plus shipping. I use flat rate shipping with the USPS which is $9.85 for up to 4. You can make the check out to: Laurilyn Harris / Soldier Scents. The address is 103 N. Diamond Valley Rd. Stillwater OK 74075. Make sure your name and address are on the check so I can ship those out to you.

Well if you are Seabee specific that is a little harder for me to do ---- We were just lucky when we got our Seabees for the 4th of July party---we switch areas and rates every month. I would look in the seabee group and ask them ---they may have something specific to seabees set up :~) I do have some seabee moms that are really good friends of mine --- I could pass their name to you if you want :)
