When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was relieved
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To be patient. I miss not being able to call him on his cell phone or text when ever I feel like it. I was a Navy wife at one time and always new what was going on but now as the mom I feel a little lost.

I figured we would have to take Katie back each night. Hopefully she will have watch later on in the day on Sunday. We were thinking that Sunday we would go to church together, out to lunch, and then we will have to head for the airport. We need to get back to Detroit and our oldest, Alicia, needs to catch her plane back to Sault Ste Marie, MI for college. Whatever time we have together will be WONDERFUL!

My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D

I have 4 children as well - 21, 19 in Dec, 17 and 12 in 6 days. Katie is in Div 903 ship 06 and will be going to A school in GL for Damage control. What about your son? She said that she has Liberty until Sunday evening, but will know all the details when they have 'Liberty Review' - or whatever it is called about a week before Graduation. It would be wonderful if she can stay with us overnight, but I'm not sure yet.

Hi Kelly, I left a message Re. leave after BC on the bootcamp forum. There is a group for PIR 12/5/2008. Please join us. It's a great group of ladies, very informative, and incredibly helpful. You may also find a group for your son's div. and ship if you do a search. There is a meet n greet planned for all the moms from this group for the Thurs. night before PIR.

Wow!!! 11 months old??? That must have been a surprise.
