Chris finished school at GL a little over a week ago and PCS's to P'cola next week. He's finally off to climes and geography that suits him. He's done very well but is ready for the next step. Once he gets to p'cola I suspect it will be another lo...
Thanks Will, MM & Gary, I'll spend some time in the P'cola group and check out those Navy Dads.. I'm not a Dad, but hey I'm not a Mom either and seem to get along fine here! I'll miss this group when he's moved on.
While I don't have an actual son in the navy (or a son at all for that matter), I do have a very close family friend - Christopher - that PIR'd Feb09. He's currently on hold in GL waiting for A school in P'cola. My Cousin Tanner is SAR.

Hi Kelly
I saw your question in the Q&A forum. We have a Pensacola A School Group. I am currently working with the staff at Pensacola to get someone there to answer questions like Will does. The School there is at MAX capacity, so they cant find anyone yet with much free time on their hands to answer questions. But they are not giving up. We have a great group of ladies and alot of good information. Come join us!
no have not heard a word since he left except he did add me as a friend on facebook hopefully so we can chat, he has no cell and i dont know his address yet. he laughed alot and did cut up but said he was very tired, hes suppose to get his new glasses asap, now that he has more freedom maybe he will eat a little more, just a mothers instinct please dont get too thin son.
i really hope he is happy im still sort of sad and cannot seem to shake it, i dont want him to be all alone and i know deep in his heart he would love to have a g-friend which he has never had, just alot of friends all of which love him dearly, so maybe its me. i just want gods best for him in everyway!!!
he was very serious most of the time and hes one to obey the rules 100%.
thanks for writing me back i really need that right now your the greatest!
tell me something, brandon seemed so sad it made me almost cry, do u think it was becuz he was exhausted due to battle stations? i know he cant wait to start school so he can have alot more freedom maybe it was being out for the 1st time since he went in u think maybe? i would hate to think he was sad and unhappy.
your right im a frozen popsicle, thawing out now and counting 4 more days and i cannot wait!!!
cannot wait i will see you and meet you soon, what a joyous time it will be,
The meet and greet is at Flanagan's, one of the recruit's moms set it up. I won't be able to go, because I have a lot of family coming up from Indiana and we are all meeting at my nephew's in Milwaulkee. I will miss meeting all of you!
Sounds like a really great time though, I'll be sad to miss it!
