Kim, I am so happy for you and for your son as he will get to stay in and will get to finally leave the holding status. Now he can get on with his Navy career. I applaud and appreciate your attitude and his, that even changing jobs is okay. Having the privilege of serving your country is something not everyone gets, let alone wants. It takes a mighty big person to make the sacrifice of his promised job and stay in and stay positive. We need more young people like that in our Armed Forces today. Congratulations to him and to you!
