Jake left Pensacola last Friday, is now home on leave, and also has to report to his new command Christmas eve. He's going to Point Mugu, CA. The time has gone by really fast, but I'll bet it's gone faster for our sailors.

Colby told me that his whole DIV was told that they would be able to call a week from this coming Wednesday unless they earn additional phone time. Are you getting letters? Writing him? I know how tough this is...I so miss my son everyday..just think, this week they will be having fun in the firing range..the week after that they will be doing Battle Stations!! and then the last week is PIR prep. and we get to see them!!
