Does anyone have a son or daughter stationed in Charleston? My son is home for a 2 week leave but will be working at the hospital as a corpman when he reports back next week. We live in the upstate so it is just a nice little ride for us to visit ...
My son will graduate A-school on Friday. His corpsman A-school is right beside boot camp so he has been stuck there since Jan. 4th. He graduated 3rd in his class and was 2nd to pick orders. Guess where he picked to be stationed????? Charleston SC....

- Kim - Congratulations upon your son's upcoming graduation from A-school. My son left for Boot Camp May 19 and will be attending A school to be a corpsman also. Stationed in Charleston. How wonderful for all of you! Did he have a choice as to where he attended A school? And, you mentioned he finished high in his class and was able to pick where he would be stationed. Is this how that always works if you don't mind my asking. By the way, love your name Kim (The Southern Pineapple). Thanks so much!
