I would like to find out what the sailors do when their ships are dry docked for a period of time. My son went to his post, which is Norfolk. Found out that his ship doesn't leave port until November.

i don't know how that would work if they didn't arrive same day, but i would think they could meet. i haven't had a real letter yet so i am waiting in hopes everyday. i am so proud of him. i have the decal "Proud Parent of a Sailor" on my car and it is great when someone asks about it and tells me to thank him for his service to America or let me know how they loved their experience.

Hi Kimberly, which comments are you looking for? If you go to a blog, group or forum you can keep track of what other post by clicking on the "follow" button at the bottom of the page. Then you'll get an email every time someone adds something to that forum, blog or group discussion. It is kinda different. Like when someone writes to you on your page and then you want to comment back it takes you to their page for you to make your comment. Does all this make sense? There is a discussion on here somewhere about using this website. You can just do a search in the box in the upper right hand corner. Also, you can contact Catherine the admin. She's most likely got all the answers. Hope this helps. Talk to you soon, I hope.
