Jennifer is doing very well in the Navy. She misses her son terribly though. I think that is the hardest thing for her. I get to talk to her as often as she can get signal and allowed to use their cell phones.

Hi My daughter Jennifer is also on the USS Fort McHenry. She is in the pharmacy. While she is gone I have her 2 year old son, so there is good and bad to her being gone.

Have you heard from you son lately? When Alexis leaves it is going to be hard just hearing her voice and not seeing her all the time. Cathy (Thomas' Mom) said… - Hi Kris, We finally heard from our son last weekend and then again on Tuesday. I was wonderful to hear his voice again. Things have been busy and they've been working late nights, but it's all good. His ship will be back in port for about a week and then leaving for their cruise. Lot's of exciting ports to visit, which is exactly what he wanted when he signed onto the GW. Hope you're having a great weekend.

- Hi Kris, Hope you had a wonderful week end! These three days went by fast. It is raining here now and all I want to do is sleep. Alexis is with her mom this week end. How are you today? Fine I hope! When will you be able to talk to your son again? That is going to be the hard part for me the waiting for a phone call or e-mail. Going to have to fine stuff to keep me busy. We are missing him teroubly and hope he'll be able to come home for a visit after their cruise. It'll be about a year since we've seen him. I enjoyed your pictures of your family.

- Hi Kris, I've been watching your photo's. Where is your son now? My step-daughter leaves for boot in January of next year. By looking at your pic's your son is done with boot. Maybe you can give me pointers and help me threw this first part. Have a nice Memorial Day week end and be safe.

There is also a USS fort McHenry group but I think there are only a few of us on it. The Little Creek group, Norfolk group and the Amphibious group are also informative. There is probably one that is specifically that is for moms of your sailors job also. Glad you found this site. I have been using it since my sailor was in boot camp last year and don't know what I would have done without it. :) Talk to you later.
