Hi I just saw in one of the discussions that ur hubby is an FC and you are in Great Lakes. My husband is cross rating to FC and he starts school April. 20th. But I don't know if they are going to let me move with or not. How long is FC school? Thanks!!!

Thank you for commenting me! Is your husband going to A school to be a Corpsman too? Oh I have so many questions. Oh my gosh. Where do I start???? When did you get your first letter? Did you get any calls after the "last" phone call? How long did it take to get all the medical packets and IDs? I could write you a novel here. Lets start there. Thank you hun!

Navy life can be very exciting...I was a wife for 10 yrs., we lived overseas for a good part of that and our son was actually born in Japan...now that same son is an FC and hoping for orders to japan! We're here for ya!

Hi there my hubby is also in GL hes on hold for A school for FC though.I'm so excited within the past 24 hours I have come across 2 new people who also have 3 kids like I do.(I was feeling like I was the only one starting out with 3 lol)

Hi Krista, welcome to AECF! I was a Navy wife for 10 years myself and my hubby was an FC, now our son is an FC as well. He left GL in january and is currently at the C school for Aegis systems. Please let me know what questions that you may have - the group is great and a wealth of info.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
As a Navy Wife I have learned that you can't count on anything =) It's a lot of hurry up and wait! And that it will all change at a moments notice!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made
