I saw that you leave on March 23rd. Well, I will be leaving on March 24th. I was wondering if you are getting nervous, anxious, or what? Hopefully we can talk a bit before heading out.

Hi Kristin, it is your choice to join enlisted or officer...I have been in for 10 years in April and i sure wish i would have taken a different route. They do have programs once you get in if you decide that "blue shirt' just isn't for you. But by joining enlisted you can explore both worlds of the navy and it lets you decide which you suits you best. The navy is and was a great experience for me and i learned and have grown alot but my time has come to move on.I wish you the best!

Welcome to DEPPER's...I hope that this group can offer support and a place
to vent, cry, laugh and brag.
Please feel free to reply to one of our discussions
or start one of your own.
Questions about DEP are most definitely welcome.
A question that you have may be a question that someone else has
but just hasn’t ask yet.
What we don’t know we will find out!

Welcome to Navy 4 Moms, this is an exciting website and very informative... We would like to invite you to the Blue Candle Lighting event that occurs in your home anytime you wish to light a candle for your recruit sailor or the military in general. This is done to honor their service during the holidays, birthdays, special events or if you just want to. The Home for the Holidays/Blue Candle Moms also ask you join us in this group. This event and group has no special connections to "any one group" We are all Navy Moms, Wives, and we became Blue Candle Moms.... this included everyone on this website. Please come join us and share your stories and your lightings and your holidays with your child...this was done because some moms were not having their sailors home, and we are support group that can share feelings and fears. Annouce your child is coming home or the despair of knowing on certain holidays it is your sailor we light the candles for. To honor them for the service in the past present and future. To honor those that gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom. We celebrate the freedom to be Blue Candle Moms and the freedom to light our candles anytime we choose. Please think about our group and the Event and when responding tell where you lit your candle, and the reasons for your paticular lighting. the event will continue and once you rsvp come in anytime and update your lightings

Welcome aboard!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

Please let me know if you have any questions I can help you with.
